In India, the Indian Premier League (IPL) is extremely popular, attracting players from various countries to compete in matches. These matches are widely enjoyed around the world. The IPL began in 2007, initially holding tournaments every two years. However, due to its immense popularity, it has changed to an annual format since 2011. Here, we are conducting some analysis related to IPL matches. The figure below shows that the IPL started with 58 matches and 8 teams in 2007 and currently it has 10 teams playing in 71 matches.

Players from all over the world are coming to India to participate in the IPL. While most players are Indian, many others are from South Africa, England, Australia, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, Afghanistan, and the West Indies.

The diagram below highlights the most successful players in the IPL. The top player is AB de Villiers, who has won the Man of the Match title 25 times, followed by Chris Gayle and Rohit Sharma. Additionally, the toss decision played a significant role in determining the outcome of the match. When a team wins the toss and chooses to field first, their chances of winning increase to 64%.

From the tree diagram below, we can see the top 10 paying grounds in which Eden Gardens is the highest paying ground in India, followed by Wankhede Stadium and Feroz Shah Kotla.
